PATRICIA BARBER "Live: A Fortnight in France"
Barber's second Blue Note release and a compilation of live tracks recorded in three French cities in 2004. The Quartet features Patricia on piano and vocals, Neal Alger on guitar, Michael Arnopol on bass, and Eric Montzma on drums. Tunes include "Gotcha", "Crash", "Laura", "Call Me" among others on this 2 LP gatefold edition mastered by Bernie Grundman on Classic's "all tube" cutting system and made available on 200g Quiex Super Vinyl Profile pressings. This is a great live recording by a great Jazz singer and as such an audiophile must have! Highest Recommendations.
