Released by a fresh faced Patrick Wolf through Capitol K's Faith And Industry Records, this is Wolf's debut release. Capitol K took Patrick Wolf under his wing to record this E.P. and produce it. This is the very first release on Faith and Industry and was pressed up in a run of 1000 ONLY! As you'd expect this 12" is LOOONG out of print and mega desirable!
This 12" is the epitome of D.I.Y. production! The artwork was all produced by Patrick Wolf himself and is adorned with his lyrics and calligraphy! It also represents a time when Wolf was a little unsure of himself and finding himself out. This is your chance to grab THE Patrick Wolf RARITY! As usual I will pack this professionally, quickly and of course this will start LOW and with NO RESERVE. Happy Bidding and don't be afraid to ask questions!
CONDITION OF VINYL: VERY GOOD ++. Unlike some sellers, I like to give you an accurate and fair representation of what you are bidding on. The playing surface of this record is in nice shape and shows only a a couple of signs of having been played. SIDE A is graded at VERY GOOD+ and has some minor SURFACE scuffs which DO NOT SOUND in anyway. There is one which is long and VERY light, and some extremely minor paper scuffing. The run-in groove is clean and the sound reproduction great, this 12" sounds great through my stereo! SIDE B is in BEAUTIFUL condition, with only ONE tiny paper scuff. SIDE B is graded at EXCELLENT... both sides of this rare 12" are in nice condition! Please see below this listing for a clearing up of what I regard as 'MINT' and 'EXCELLENT.' I firmly believe this record would be graded higher by other sellers! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
CONDITION OF SLEEVE: NEAR MINT. The sleeve is AS NEW... it is completely stiff with no dogears, no creases and no wear. The spine is solid and completely legible... please see the photographs for inspection..
I am an avid collector of many, many genres and keep my records in IMMACULATE condition. I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide 'Ready Reckoner' and almost NEVER sell anything which is below EXCELLENT condition. Rest assured that my EXCELLENT is bloody EXCELLENT! Oh yeah and I NEVER GRADE ANYTHING MINT THAT IS NOT SEALED!! Near Mint is the highest grading I use for unsealed records.
All records will be sent within two days MAXIMUM of receipt of payment (usually within 4/5 hours of payment received). Your record will be expertly packed in a professional brown mailer, using one or two stiffeners and housed in a PVC 12" sleeve with the record in a paper inner placed outside the sleeve as is standard practice. I've always been lucky when buying records from ebay (save the odd occasion) and would like all buyers of my records to be 100% SATISFIED!
