PATSY BISCOE The Voice Of (CBS) Australia 1966.

Here's the Super Rare debut 60s Folk LP by Patsy Biscoe. Most people in Australia only know Patsy Biscoe from her Children's LPs in the 70s/80s (which sold in big numbers!). But this is her incredibly Rare first recording as a female Folk Singer. Really beautiful stuff here, she does have an Amazing Voice, i've heard her compared to Joan Baez, but personally i prefer her style.

The backing is typical mid 60s 'coffee shop' style, minimalist with double bass (by Ed Gaston), and some additional Guitars by Doug Ashdown. Track 1 is a Cover of a Song by Adelaide Folkie "Phil Sawyer", who recorded a really great & highly collectible album himself.

The Cover is EX (see pics + zoom), really nice & glossy still, just a little shelfware, a couple of minor sticker tears the rear. The Vinyl is VG, there's fair bit of light sleeve scuffing, one needle scratch on track 5 causes some clicking & skips, but plays through on my deck. Otherwise light to moderate crackle due to the fragility of the music.
