up for auction is the very rare patto "hold your fire" lp from 1971
vertigo phonogram 6360032
songs are: hold your fire°you, you point your finger°how's your father°see you at the dance tonight°give it all away°air-raid shelter°tell me where have you been°magic door
musicians: mike patto°olly halsall°clive griffiths°john halsey
comes with the original gimmix cover and the spiral inner sleeve
the record is in a near mint condition, no marks, scratches, etc., plays great with only minimal background noise, but this happens to be on all records that are over 30 years old... most songs are completely without any background noise at all
the cover is in a vg(-) condition, it has a half inch tear on the upper right on the front, which touches the vertigo label, a clear punch hole in the lower right which luckily does not touch the foot of the policeman
the white cover has darkened a little around the edges, but no ringwear (please see the pictures)
the seams are intact, no tape has been used, but the flips tend to follow the gravity a little...
the upper flip seam shows some wear, part of the vertigo letters are no more readable
the other seams have no splits
the back cover has 2 tiny spots, where some black pen has been used (maybe to blacken the cover again...)
the labels are in nm condition, no writings, tears, etc., only very little spindle marks
