Hi, my name is Brian and I have been collecting vinyl for many years. My main interest has been PROGRESSIVE especially the VERTIGO SWIRL/SPIRAL LABEL, reputed to be the most collectable label in the world?

I have finally finished my SWIRL collection of over 160 albums of which most are UK pressings, and now I am going to SELL them ( I must be mad ). I have been quite fussy about the QUALITY, CONDITION and they must be the VERY FIRST PRESSINGS. The latter has been the hardest to decipher and has had me buying and selling many copies of the same album to achieve this,and I almost have with these collectable gems.

I am now selling another..YES another set of UK swirl VERTIGO albums. PLEASE read the descriptions carefully as some of the albums are NOT very first pressings and some will be VERY FIRST white label promo's. But ALL are GENUINE UK SWIRL PRESSINGS. 

I am not and have never been a 'dealer' by profession, but I have always given honest descriptions and lots of clear photo's of any items I have sold. I do know how disappointing it is when you open that package and the item has been over sold with expressions such as "AWESOME" etc when the item is only in EX- condition or worse. If you are in anyway disappointed with an item from me you are most welcome to return it with a FULL REFUND, providing it is an honest and just mistake by myself as I believe in my descriptions.

For sale here is --PATTO--HOLD YOUR FIRE--UK ORIGINAL  PRESSING. 1971, stereo 6360 032 The 37th of 88 UK pressings on this label. MORE WILL FOLLOW!

SLEEVE.....GIMIXED and UN-LAMINATED.  This is always a dificult sleeve to find in top condition, and this one is. All three fold out strips are full intact and only have minor creasing. The colours are strong. The front is in EX condition, there is  NO STICKER TEARS, GLUE RESIDUE, UNWANTED WRITING or RING WEAR. The rear of the sleeve is also in EX condition with just the faint beginnings of ring wear. The spine is in fantastic condition, this sleeve usually has a trashed spine as it is so delicate and prone to damage even with light use it is fully readable and suffers with light edge wear. Thereis wear to the tips of the corners.The inner gatefold is in wonderful condition and is graded as EX+. All three closed edges are in EX+ condition  This album comes with an ORIGINAL SWIRL INNER SLEEVE IN TOP CONDITION. All in all this is in great condition for a 37year old UN-LAMINATED sleeve.EX+.

LABELS.....There is NO unwanted writing, stickers, residue or tears.  There are light spindle marks on both sides, this album has obviously always been handled with great care N/MINT, N/MINT

This album has the very desirable 111 stampers after the matrix numbers on both sides, please see the photo's below.

VINYL.... Both sides of this fantastic album still have their JUST PRESSED deep black shine. When you hold this album in the very brightest of lights you can see light surface hair lines and 1 small scuff which causes 4 VERY LIGHT clicks to the beginning of track 3Tell me where(please see close-up photo). I have played this album on my very sensitive and revealing LINN SONDEK and the sound is UN-WORN, it is full and crisp there is NO loss of sound quality at all, wonderful sound stage and stereo separation. There are moderate dust crackles that can only be heard in the quiet parts of the music or between tracks, but a professional clean should sort out most of that. These HEAVY VINYL original pressings are second to none. This really is a great copy that any collector would be delighted to add to their collection, a real KEEPER .  EX/EX-.
