Great and emotional compositions (except maybe the conventional opening track), brilliant instrumental playing, extremely confident vocals, good lyrics, clear and modest production, what more do you want? Halsall steals the show by playing both incredibly complex and yet accessible. Listen to the fills in Give it all away! Some subtle vibraphone is featured too; most convincingly so, on the closing Magic door. Our favorite still is Air raid shelter, that effortlessly switches from a freaky cauldron filled with jazz to pumping rock. Anarchistic guitar hurricanes in a quiet context, an excellent idea! The ever dodging harmonies of Tell me where you've been are also top-notch. Even better than the debut.

Condition;

The vinyl has a couple of light marks. Has a just pressed look with original deep black shine. (visually graded as NM) I have played this record and I am happy to say it plays with very little surface noise if any (play graded as M-) Very little play time.

The sleeve has some wear down the spine edge and light bumping to the corners, no rips or writing, the flaps are still intact which is unusual with these delicate sleeves. see the images (graded VG+) I feel that because of the nature of this sleeve that I have down graded slightly because these sleeves are hard to find intact as this one is.

It has the original inner sleeve with some creasing. graded EX.

items above the value of £34.00 must be sent using the postal insurance service, my guarantee covers lost items in the post and I am not prepared to take the risk for items above this value so please do not ask because refusal often offends if you do not agree to this insurance charge please do not bid. The charge will be at cost and nothing added the packaging is already covered in the basic charge.

Your record will be removed from the sleeve before packing to avoid the risk of the record splitting the sleeve during transit. It will be packed in good quality purpose made packaging, expensive records are packed in a BOX for inland post and all records are packed in a BOX for overseas post, my guarantee also covers records broken in the post if in the unlikely event it were to be broken. I have been posting records all over the world for five years now and I have had only one or two problems in well over 3,000 sales.
