Description
Paul Baumgarner, Swiss pianist, born July 21, 1903, died October 19, 1976, studied at Munich and Köln with Walter Braunfels and Eduard Erdmann, from 1927 - 1935 professor at Köln, from 1937 professor at the conservatory Basel. Toured frequently with Casals, Fournier and Vegh.
Beethoven, Sonata, Les Adieux, in E flat major, op. 81a No 26, matrices OZA 1109-12, all take 3. Recorded in Zürich 1943. 2 records 12" SWISS HMV DB 10054/5. Condition: 2-3
