PAUL BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND Rare WHITE LABEL PROMO 1st LP Unplayed MINT Elektra

SEE OUR OTHER RARE RECORDS & MEMORABILIA

Here's an impossibly rare and unplayed Mint/Mint to Near Mint white label promo of the self titled 1965 debut album by The Paul Butterfield Blues Band on Elektra--with the unique promotional only blue & white "Guitar Player" label.

This is the second white label copy we've seen of this classic in 40 years and it's in incredible condition. The disc shows no sign of having been played--no spindle marks or wear at all, just some very very minor pressing marks on one side and ultra subtle dishing not affecting play at all. The cover--with laminated front-- is in just incredible condition as well. Also included is an Elektra promotional catalog of folk music titles and the original inner sleeve.

This isn't something you may ever see again--so bid aggressively.

We have been buying and selling music collectibles for nearly 40 years via our website, Ebay, and mail-order.

RECORDMECCA'S Jeff Gold was named by Rolling Stone magazine as one of the 5 "Top Collectors of high-end music memorabilia" (there is a link to this article on our "ME" page.) Gold is a frequent consultant to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and the Experience Music Project in Seattle. He authenticated previously unknown Bob Dylan lyric manuscripts for PBS's "History Detectives," appeared as a featured appraiser on VH1's "ROCK COLLECTORS," and has been profiled as a top dealer and collector in the books "Vinyl Junkies" by Brett Milano and "Retromania: Pop Culture's Addiction to it's Own Past" by Simon Reynolds.

Gold is author of the new book "101 ESSENTIAL ROCK RECORDS: THE GOLDEN AGE OF VINYL, FROM THE BEATLES TO THE SEX PISTOLS," a definitive survey of seminal rock albums, picturing rare first pressing LP's, and featuring contributions from musicians including Peter Buck (REM), David Bowie, Nels Cline (Wilco), Robyn Hitchcock, Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Graham Nash, Iggy Pop, Suzanne Vega and others.

Please check our feedback; you'll see that we are dedicated to providing superior customer service and follow through. We guarantee everything we offer to be authentic with no time limit.

We welcome International buyers and ship around the world every week.

US & Canada Shipping: $9 for 1-2 LP's by insured Priority Mail (Ebay’s recent rule change requires us to offer Media Mail shipping for records, at $4.00 for 1 LP. As this is a very slow method of shipping and uninsured, we cannot guarantee safe delivery by this method and strongly recommend paying extra for the much quicker and safer Priority Mail.) $15 for 1-2 posters, shipped priority mail in a new mailer/tube & US orders are automatically insured for up to $200 in value. Calif. buyers add 8.75% sales tax (calculated automatically by Paypal.) All other items shipped at cost.

International Shipping: $16 for 1 LP airmail without insurance. $4 for each additional LP; $21 for 1-2 posters. All other items shipped at cost. Because of problems with the Italian Post Office, we highly recommend either insured or registered mail for all Italian orders and cannot be responsible for any order shipped to Italy without one or the other of these.
