Un-laminated frame cover.
The front cover retains much of its original beauty, with only very minor touch-ups at the corners and some age-related browning. Due to a printing error during the jacket production process, there is some uneven ink overlay on Paul Chambers’ face on the cover.
Record: VG++, just below Excellent
Side A / Side B: Clean vinyl with only a tiny superficial surface mark and a light paper scuff on Side B, neither of which affects overall playback. A few extremely faint tics can be heard on A-1, A-2, B-1, and B-2, but they do not interfere with the enjoyment of the music. Plays great overall.
Using a true MONO cartridge like GE VR II, Ortofon CG25di, Audio Technica AT33MONO or Denon DL-102 — will reveal greater focus, depth, and musical presence, allowing this original mono pressing to perform at its best.
