Artist: PAUL DESMOND, featuring JIM HALL
Title: “Glad To Be Unhappy”
Label: RCA Victor. Monaural pressing on medium thick vinyl with deep groove. Label is black with silver text. Catalog number is LPM-3407. Stamper numbers are A1-2S on both sides.
Year: 1965.
Personnel: Paul Desmond – saxophone; Jim Hall – guitar; Gene Wright – bass* (Paul Cherico on Poor Butterfly only); Connie Kay - drums.
Note: This album comes from an extremely well cared-for jazz collection where the original owner cherished his albums, played them once or twice at most, and stored them under optimal conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for the discriminating collector who insists on top condition.
Condition:
DISC: Vinyl is gorgeous NEAR MINT, as clean as can be found. The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster, perhaps played once. Plays flawlessly with superb fidelity. Labels are clean and pristine.
JACKET: Jacket is beautiful NEAR MINT with clean front and back panels, nice seams and corners.
