Sings THE FABULOUS TEENS 


Paul Evans hit the charts in 1959-'60 with pop hits like "(Seven Little Girls) Sitting In The Back Seat," "The Midnight Special" and "Happy Go Lucky Me." All were while recording for Guaranteed Records.

After those hits he moved over to Carlton Records and kept at it, but with little success. He was having hits as a songwriter, but not as a performer himself.

This was his first album while he was having his hit song on Guaranteed, but strangely enough, the Lp didn’t include that hit song. Weird, huh? It did have his version of several familiar hits from the ‘50s, songs that were only a year or two old, but now getting his own special version.
