Kossoff remains a seriously under-rated guitarist. Never flash, never fast, perhaps not even technically brilliant - but he made up for all of it with pure blues-soul, his vibrato and tone were sublime and his ability to enhance the vocals of Paul Rodgers in Free by playing around the voice was executed with an uncanny second-nature. Kossoff died too young but left some truly heartfelt music behind. This compilation gathers togethre some great moments plus lots of unlreased or hard-to-find material. The tone, the blues inflections, the subtle art of Kossoff's craft, it is all here...
