Description

Here we have an excellent condition copy of what has to be the weirdest album in my vast collection, Stuermischer Himmel by Paul and Limpe Fuchs (Anima Sound) on the German Ohr label. Lumped into the Krautrock genre but having very little to do with Rock, this LP starts of with 'found sound', sheep bleating in a windy situation and then the music begins. Best described as 'musique concrete', there is atonal guitar, slippery drums and curious vocalising and flute. It's not your standard bit of Rock 'n' Roll by any stretch of imagination that's for sure. Takes a bit of getting used to. I've had it for over 20 years and now it can go to a better home. Ohr is a very collectable label and was home to Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel, Amon Duul and Guru Guru among others. Nurse with Wound collaborators. Come and have a look.
