I have decided to list my absolutely beautiful 1st edition U.K. Apple PAS 10003 copy of Paul and Linda McCartney’s Ram LP for auction. I purchased this used, but in Mint condition back in 1985 from a very reputable record store. I played it once and recorded it to cassette. The vinyl looks and should sound Near Mint, since the tape still sounds great. It has the dark green Apple label with YEX 837 - 1 on Side One, and YEX 838 – 1 on Side Two in the trail off. Also in a different area of the trailoff on both sides there is a 1, and in another area of the trailoff on Side One it looks like a CC, and on Side Two an H. Labels are perfect and say (“An E.M.I. Recording”) Mfd. In U.K. The record is in its original Apple Records sleeve that is plain with no center cut hole and has this printed at the bottom on both sides: IMPORTANT NOTICE COPYRIGHT EXISTS IN ALL APPLE RECORDINGS. ANY UNAUTHORISED BROADCASTING, PUBLIC PERFORMANCE, COPYING OR RE-RECORDING OF RECORDS UNDER THIS TRADE MARK IN ANY MANNER WHATSOEVER WILL CONSTITUTE AN INFRINGEMENT OF SUCH COPYRIGHT. EVELYN HOUSE, 62 OXFORD STREET, LONDON, W1N OAN The laminated cover is in NM condition but does have minor corner bumps. The spine is perfect and there is no edgewear (other than a slight bit on corner bumps). The inner gatefold is perfect and acts like it has never been opened, which it very rarely has since I’ve owned it. After recording it to cassette I put this in a plastic LP storage sleeve and it has been in my record cabinet ever since until now. This is truly a beautiful copy of a first edition and is worthy of framing. If you have any questions please feel free to write. I may part with some of my other Apple LPs in the future also.
