It was issued in April 2012, exclusively for 'Record Store Day' on the 'MPL/Hear Music/Concord Music Group' label (cat. no. HRM-33824-01) in a Limited Edition of 2000 copies, and comes in a card picture sleeve.
'Another Day' is a song recorded by Paul McCartney in New York in 1970, during the sessions for his solo album, 'Ram'. Although it was the first single of McCartney's solo career, the track was written and previewed during The Beatles' sessions for the 'Let It Be' album in 1969. The single was was released on 19 February 1971 in the UK, with the track 'Oh Woman, Oh Why' as the B-side. It reached #2 on the UK singles chart and peaked at #5 on the US Billboard 'Hot 100' chart. Neither of the songs originally appeared on the 'Ram' album, but were added to later reissues.
