Thanks for looking at my listing, for a very rare copy of the “Brung To Ewe By” radio spot vinyl LP. The matrix numbers are SPRO-6210 Z1 EW/N and this is a legitimate pressing.
This was made to promote the recently released Ram album in a very limited quantity and contains about fifteen 30-60 second clips of music, speech that sounds like an interview and sheep noises. The whole playing time is about 10 minutes and some of the clips have a very surreal “Revolution 9” feel to them. An interesting listen and rare piece of history to promote a terrific album. Almost every clip has him singing a variation of “Now Hear Me Sing My Song!” If you search Brung To Ewe By on YouTube, someone posted the LP so you can check it out.
This apparently originally came in a plain white jacket with two letters, one from Paul and Linda and one from a press agent. This particular copy however, came inside a beautiful US promo copy of the Ram album. It has been cleaned and plays beautifully, with minimal surface noise. There are a couple of light marks, but nothing noticeable to me. There a few tiny brown age spots on the labels. I would rate the LP VG++ or better.
The copy of Ram has a beautiful jacket with hardly any wear apart from the punch hole which was standard for Apple/Capitol at the time. I would rate it NM- The disc was obviously played and enjoyed and has moderate surface noise and light scuffs and a few scratches. I would rate it VG- or better. The disc comes in the original plain inner sleeve with a small tear.
