Description
Stunning first UK press of "Ram" by Paul and Linda McCartney from 1971 on Apple Records. Features the dark green apple on the centre label
Matrix numbers: YEX 837-1/ 838-1.
Vinyl graded Excellent+. There are a few very light surface marks but we have play tested and it sounds fantastic. Vinyl is lovely and glossy. It has been well looked after and has had very little play.
Laminated gatefold sleeve is also graded in Excellent+ condition and has been very well taken care of.
Comes with original Apple inner sleeve which is in Near Mint condition
All of our records are professionally cleaned prior to despatch and are posted in cardboard record mailers with stiffeners.
Records are graded using the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide as follows:
Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. ?
Near Mint: The record appears new but is known to have been played because the label has light spindle marks or because it has come from a previous owner and is assumed to have been played by them.
Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects.
Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
In addition, we also use the following gradings to assist our customers in making purchasing decisions:
Excellent +: The record is better than Excellent but not quite Near Mint.
Very Good +: The record is better than Very Good but not quite Excellent.
