Paul McCartney - 'Another Day / Oh Woman Oh Why'. R 5889

Paul McCartney 1971 UK 1st Apple FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Another Day / Oh Woman Oh Why' 7" single. Released on the 19th February 1971, and offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT condition complete with a rare 'A is for Apple Records' promotional sticker.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant. The a-side features a London Weekend Television Music Services sticker along side the factory ample sticker so I assume they must have been the original owner.

Released on the dark Apple Records label with rarer push-out center variation. The b-side has the release date 19 FEB. stamped twice (both quite faded see picture below). Also included is an unpeeled, unstuck 'A is for Apple Records' promotional sticker.

The Matrix numbers are:

Side 1. 7YCE 21523-1U 5 PA PEKO KT

Side 2. 7YCE 21524-1U 1 LO GP KT

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition. Two stickers as mentioned above and two date stamps.

The sleeve is in GOOD+ condition. Looks nice but has some long seam splits. I will add an additional sleeve for protection.
