This is a 1982 CBS MASTERSOUND RECORDS U.S. HALF SPEED MASTERED PRESSING OF THE 1973 LP titled 'Band On The Run', generally considered to be the best post-Beatles album from Paul McCartney and his band Wings. It is CBS Mastersound Records U.S. catalog number HC 46482, with its original lyric sheet insert with a band photo and its original CBS Mastersound insert which details the technical aspects of their half speed mastered LPs. Record comes packaged inside the cover in its original stock dust-free static-free poly inner sleeve, similar to a Mobile Fidelity inner sleeve.
Mastered with TLC at Half-Speed at the CBS Recording Studios, New York, on the CBS DisComputer™ System Includes a double sided lyrics sheet with photo, and a CBS Mastersound technical information insert. - Condition of record is a SOLID NM with no visible surface marks. Condition of cover is a high VG+ with some wear along the edges and on the corners as the only real flaws. Lyrics sheet and CBS Mastersound inserts have no real flaws. Inner sleeve has a few slight creases and wrinkles, no splits or tears. This high quality half speed mastered audiophile quality LP would be a nice addition to any Paul McCartney, Beatles-related, or classic rock audiophile record collection!
