UK First Pressing
Here we have a genuine first pressing of the rare classic Paul McCartney record RAM.
Only the very first pressings of RAM had the following criteria:
· Fully laminated gatefold outer sleeve. With white spine (later copies had an orange spine)
· Dark green Apple labels
· Matrix endings -1 and -1
· White Apple Records inner sleeve.
To find a first pressing of RAM is becoming harder and harder with most sold being later presses and it is almost unheard of to find one in this wonderful condition!
Matrix Numbers
Side 1: YEX 837-1
Side 2: YEX 838-1
Outer Sleeve Condition EX++
The first press fully laminated outer sleeve is in remarkable condition. The spine is perfectly straight, fully readable with no wear at all. All the edges are straight with no seam splits at all and only very mild storage wear to the top edge. A truly remarkable outer sleeve that you would be hard pressed to better!
Inner Sleeve Condition EX+
The first press Apple inner sleeve with dark gray writing has no seam splits, writing, or stains.
Excellent

The record looks unplayed at first sight and only under a halogen bulb can we see some removal ghost lines that apparently have no playback effect at all. evidence of having been played. but in lovely condition

The first press dark green Apple labels are in perfect condition with no tears, stains or writing at all. Under a strong bulb only the faintest of spindles can be seen on side 2. It is clear to see that this record has been played once or twice at most!

A must for any Beatles collector or true fan of quality music!
