Paul McCartney and Wings - ‘Wild Life’. PCS 7142

Paul McCartney and Wings 1971 UK FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO 1st pressing of the ‘Wild Life’ LP. Released on the 7th December 1971, this was the debut album from Paul and Wings. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT condition and has a very unusual early FRONT LAMINATED FLIP BACK SLEEVE.

These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.

Most issues of this album have a thick card cover but this has a front laminated sleeve with flip backs similar to the 1960’s Beatles covers (very unusual to see one like this, I don’t recall ever seeing another). A rare early factory sample in great condition.

The matrix numbers are:

Side 1: YEX 871-1 1 RT

Side 2: YEX 872-1 4 OD

The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.

Both labels are in MINT- condition.

The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.

The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. White not yellow inner sleeve.

This LP will be very carefully packaged for transit. UK recorded postage is: £4.55. EU recorded postage is: £12.95. Rest of the world recorded postage is: £18.95. Combined, reduced postage is available.
