- PAUL NEWMAN & KATHARINE ROSS HAND SIGNED “BUTCH CASSIDY” SOUNDTRACK (E) w/COA!
1969’s “Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid” was the hugely popular western with Paul Newman and Robert Redford as those charming bank robbers and Katharine Ross as the woman who loved them both, but in different ways. Here we have the equally iconic soundtrack of Burt Bacharach’s music for the film containing the smash Oscar-winning song, “Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head.” This A&M label soundtrack is in Excellent (E) condition with its original A&M Records inner sleeve and was signed in black Sharpie by Newman and Ross at different times. Newman did so in the early 90’s when he was visiting American Movie Classics (AMC) headquarters and graciously signed the LP for an exec there who was a big fan. Ross signed over 20 years later when she participated in a Q & A after a screening of “The Graduate” at the American Cinematheque’s Aero Theatre in Santa Monica,Ca.
