Drummer Paul Togawa's only album as a leader is most significant for featuring the great altoist Gabe Baltazar in what may be his earliest recording. Pianist Dick Johnston and bassist Ben Tucker are fine in support (and together contribute three of the six numbers), but it is the passionate playing of Baltazar, who would be the last important graduate from the Stan Kenton Orchestra, on such numbers as "Lover Man" and "It's All Right with Me" that is most memorable.
