Description
This is it - the very first single by the BEST BAND OF THE 1990s.
Only 1,000 were ever made (wiki "Slay Tracks" for the whole story). This is hand-numbered #221.
As you can see from the pictures - minor discoloration on cover and insert, vinyl is absolutely beautiful, hairline scratch at very beginning of side-a that is nearly inaudible and ends before the music kicks in.
This particular copy even has some Pavement provenance of its own. It was purchased some twenty years ago by yours truly from the then-publisher of Chemical Imbalance, the brilliant and highly influential magazine that early on put out Pavement's recording of "My Radio," which would later round out Drag City's "Westing" singles comp. (Another seller has that Chemical Imbalance single listed if you want to check it out. And definitely check out the zine, it's great.)
So forget those Buy It Now grifters trying to rake you for $400 or more, I'm starting this one at $100 and LETTING IT RIDE!
