Description

Capitol side-label FDS copy of PBR 8477: Michael Rabin playing Paganini Caprices. I have two of these in my collection, and I'm letting the better set go. Both are Canadian pressings.

To my eyes and ears, this set grades at the top of the EX range; though I refuse to use the word "Mint" when grading any 50-year-old LP that's out of its original packaging. With my Grado Gold stylus, it plays quiet and strong. For a better sound, I think you'd have to upgrade to a sealed Mono copy or an EX stereo version. Doing either one of those would be very expensive.

There's only one condition issue that I can see: the packaging was punched to prevent return. The punch clipped the corner of the insert and one of the sleeves.
