Description

THE INSANE 1968 ACID FUZZ WAH PSYCH MONSTER

                                                                         PEACEPIPE

"The Human Equation Featuring Jon Uzonyi"1995,USA / Rockadelic RRLP 18.

PEACEPIPE INSANE HENDRIX PSYCH PROG GARAGE LP

Peacepipe was the brainchild of guitarist Jon Uzonyi who along with drummer Gary Tsuruda started the group in the mid-sixties while still in High School. In 1968 they went to Hollywood and recorded two tracks...After leaving school Jon joined the U.S.Air Force and aws stationed in Tucson AZ.It was here that he met  keyboardist Rick Abts who joined Jon and Gary to form "The Human Equation".When time permitted the band played concerts and clubs throughout the West using both AZ. and S.California as home bases. In the 1969 the group disbanded with each member going on to pursue non-musical careers.Shortly thereafter Jon got the band back together one last time to go into the studio and record the original tunes heard on this album. With the help of engineer Eric Wangberg the masters were completed at "Sound Recorders"studio in Hollywood CA.Due to pressures in their personal lives Jon shelved the project and it has remained unheared by the public until now.The music you are about to hear is some of the most mindblowing psych-rock ever recorded, timeless in it's appeal.

SIDE ONE:   1- Sea of nightmares, 2- Angel of love, 3- I could never take your dreams away, 4- Carry on together.

SIDE TWO:    1- A biker's tune, 2- Open your mind, 3- The day the war has ended, 4- Love shine.

Condition:  Gatefold Cover  and LP Record are in M- to NM like new.

Heavy guitar fans rate this the best Rockadelic album ever. Totally over-the-top Hendrix/Mahogany Rush-like pyrotechnics from Jon Uzonyi, who was also responsible for the incredible 45 on Accent in the late 60s under the Peacepipe moniker.

LP condition GRADING system:

M (MINT) : Sealed, never opened or played, new in original package.

NM (NEAR MINT) : Near perfect copy, played only a few times. At worst it may have one or two insignificant flaws. This is the highest grade I give for a non-sealed (used) record.

EX (EXCELLENT) : Clean copy, slight surface marks/hairlines, cover has minor defaults.

VG++ (VERY GOOD++) : More surface marks, minor flaws, or cover wear, minor edge wear (cover). Nothing serious but is not graded EX because of few minor defaults

VG+ (VERY GOOD +) : Played a lot, will show signs of handling, has marks, possibly few light scratches but no jumps or sticks. Cover wear (light ring wear, heavier corner or edge wear on cover)

VG (VERY GOOD) : Used record, played a lot, has marks, few scratches, some crackling while playing and but no jumps or sticks. Still quite listenable. Cover may have heavy corner, edge wear or split seams

G (GOOD) : Played a lot and more (but still playable), lot of scratches, crackles a lot while playing, may have jump or sticks and cover is damaged...so not so good ! This record must be very rare to be proposed in this state !!!
