This is a lovely copy of the very rare original first Spanish press of the LP Jazz Flamenco Vol. 2 by Spanish Jazz pioneer Pedro Iturralde, who is also well-known for his Pedro Iturralde Quartet LP on the famous Blue Note label in 1968 and his works with Paco De Lucia. This album was released in 1968 on HispaVox with catalogue # HH 11-151 and reflects earliest ambitions to connect Flamenco and Jazz, that are very tough to find on LP nowadays.
The laminated sleeve is excellent condition and the record is in EX- condition.
Pedro Iturralde is one of the pioneers of jazz musicians in Spain. She studied saxophone at the Conservatory of Music of Madrid, with eighteen years, combining the studies of clarinet, piano, violin and armonía. After a tour of eight years in Europe, he returned to Madrid to work for several years in the "Whisky Jazz Club, with figures such as Donald Byrd, Lee Konitz, Hampton Hawes, Gerry Mulligan, and Tete Montoliu. In 1967, Joachim E. Berendt, you are required to perform with his sextet, (Paco de Lucía on guitar) at the Berlin Jazz Festival with the premiere of his most ambitious musical project "Flamenco Jazz". It acts in Lugano and many other festivals and the European Broadcasting Union with "Start All Big-Band" in the "Playhouse Theatre in London and the" Palau "in Barcelona.
