Description
For auction is PEE WEE RUSSELL's "Ask Me Now," on Impulse A-96, MONO, Gatefold, 1966. Promo Edition.
SOUND: NM
It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. Fantastic, clean, clear sound on the playback. Delightful!
VINYL: NM
There are a few very faints scuffs/smudges, but overall the vinyl appears in terrific condition. The dead wax has the "VAN GELDER" stamp. The white "promo" edition labels are gorgeous.
JACKET: VG+/NM
The jacket is beautiful! The only reason it's not NM is because there is a little strip of clear scotch tape on the front cover. Really not a big deal. Otherwise, the laminated cover is gorgeous, as is the back and inner gatefold. All clean, unmarked and beautiful shape. The edges and spine all-around are beautiful. The spine is still too stiff to remain open on it's own.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
