This was re-issued by Hydra Head Records for Record Store Day 2012 and it's OUT OF PRINT again.

This is SEALED, so we don't know what color the vinyl is.

The RSD 2012 pressing was: black, gold, and yellow/black/orange haze

The cover is sealed and in fantastic shape with the sticker intact, but the upper left corner was beat up during shipping.

This album absolutely rips. My favorite PELICAN album. They're gone! Get it!

Now at last on (gatefold, double, limited edition) vinyl! Chicago instru-metallers Pelican are back, with the full-length follow up to their brilliant "Untitled" debut ep. Like that disc, this is almost the perfect blend of heaviness (METAL heaviness, to be precise) and post-rock. There's prettiness and precision, darkness and dynamics. From slow and powerful downer grooves to mellow melodic interludes to rapidly riffing, sheer super heavy metal, could Pelican do it any better? It has the oceanic warmth of Growing's droning heaviness lashed to some more mathy, metallic constructions. Our customers who love all things heavy (Isis, Boris, Gore, 5ive, Tarantula Hawk, Dead Meadow, etc.) and who have a soft spot for spacier, sleepier stuff too should dig these six tracks for sure!

SEALED record is in like new unopened condition believed to be mint under the shrink
NM I dont believe in MINT records...if its MINT it is SEALED in my opinion. NM then is as good as it gets like new but opened, I use this grading very rarely.
EX Sorry to mix up grading systems but I believe there is a place for an EX (its just a NM- or a VG++) for those clean records which are better than a regular VG+ but not flawless
VG+ This is the industry standard, a good clean record with minimal surface noise and one or two light surface scratches, cover might have some corner dings and ring wear starting but overall a good record similar to what you would find in the used bins of a local record shop.
VG Things are getting more worn here still a good player but visually showing wear and picking up some noise.
VG- Has a deep scratch or two visually rough also but plays through with pops and krackle.
G Not good at all, you have been warned
