Description

FIRST PRESSING of punk band Penetration's acclaimed 1978 debut album - and it's in limited edition GLOW-IN-DARK VINYL.
This 11 track landmark punk era album is from my own personal collection and was supplied by Virgin's press/PR office when I was reviewing records and gigs for my first newspaper.
ALSO INCLUDED: folded A4 glossy press/PR handout (see photos) that came with the album. Band photo on front and brief biography on inside pages describing band's progress from January 1997 to first major UK tour in October/December 1978.
Glossy outer sleeve is in very good+ condition with slight edge wear/creasing around the edges - all consistent with a record of this age that has been handled and played with what I would describe as reasonable care. Also a slight split on bottom leading edge (side where record slips in).
Plain white paper inner sleeve is in very good+ condition.
Green (side one) and red (side two) Virgin paper labels are in excellent/near-mint condition.
Vinyl in very good+ condition with a few light surface marks consistent with pulling in and out of sleeve/playing on decent hi-fi separates system. Both sides still play really well with no obtrusive background hiss or clicks etc.
Side one track listing: Future Daze, Life's A Gamble, Lovers Of Outrage, Vision, Silent Community, Stone Heroes. Side two: Movement, Too Many Friends, Reunion, Nostalgia, Freemoney.
A real authentic punk era must-have for anyone of a certain vintage who wants to replace a missing/lost/stolen copy or a newer fan with a gap in their collection.
