Pentangle---"Cruel Sister"---Original UK In Awesome Mint- Condition. My highest grade!!!

Here we have an original UK 1st pressed album in stereo from 1970 on the Transatlantic label with a cat. no. TRA 228 and matrices A-1U & B-1U.

Vinyl: Looks superb with no marks and it still has a very high gloss shine. Both sides play absolutely perfectly.Apart from me test playing this record I would be surprised if it were ever played at all,it really is that clean a copy.

Labels are absolutely perfect with no spindle wear at all. These labels are like new.

Sleeve I am grading as being in an excellent+ condition with only the minorest of faint wear,an amazing example of a 40 year old album.There is no writing at all on any part of the sleeve or record.Totally clean! The gatefold sleeve is in a beautiful condition almost looking like new.I am confident you will NEVER find a better copy of this record. It looks like it was pressed yesterday and has been looked after with the utmost care.Truly stunning condition.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM

MINT :
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed be Mint.

EXCELLENT :
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD :
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.

I may use a + or a - to emphasise a grading which may be inbetween a grade. I will never use a mint grading for a 2nd hand/used record for instance. Mint- will be the very highest grade.
