PENTANGLE - Solomon's Seal LP (UK Reprise, 1972) + insert
This is very, very rare original MINT UK 1st Press (WITHOUT "W" oval logo on label's rim) with textured cover (with rare, elusive & flimsy insert), released in 1972 on Warner/Reprise. It was their first and last album for that label and also it was their most 'progressive' (electric) title so far! This title sold in very small quantities and without doubt is the rarest UK album in Pentangle discography!
Archive, beautiful, original copy of great 6th album - rather impossible to upgrade! Those early original UK pressings are very hard to find nowadays in such fantastic condition! TOP COPY!
Cover: MINT- Nicely textures (slightly "hairy") cover looks beautifully - like new! This cover is usually creased and tired, but not this one! The only, minimal issue is very minor yellowish stain (?) at the front left - almost completely unnoticeable. No edgewears! NO ringwears, NO dirt, No writings! Great cover! The opening edge is razor-sharp and the spine is in perfect shape! Near perfect!
Record: MINT Yes, FULL MINT! Original vinyl is deep black and under bright light it's free of any marks! Looks like being UNPLAYED Perfect! Can't be better!
Labels: MINT Both tan labels are in pristine shape - without single spindle mark! Perfect!
