I love records! I visually and very carefully inspect all records and CONSERVATIVELY grade using the system below. I also playgrade many records and take pride in providing my customers with accurate information!
GRADING SYSTEM:
SS Sealed in original shrink wrap. Never opened.
NM Record looks unplayed. Displays original luster. Any surface noise very faint if at all. Cover will be in excellent condition with only VERY minor imperfections if any at all.
VG++ Close to near mint. Record in excellent shape with only minor paper sleeve marks, if at all. A few VERY light marks may be present but generally will not affect sound quality. Sound quality excellent with only minor surface noise in between tracks, if at all. Any other surface noise faint. Cover may have very light ringwear/corner wear. No split seams.
VG+ Record in overall very good condition. Not flawless. Minor scratches and/or sleeve marks present. NO "feeler scratches" Sound quality still very good. Minor crackling here and there possible. Enjoyable listening experience. Cover may have light ringwear/light staining/corner damage.
VG Record has been played and handled. Minor to Moderate scratches/blemishes present. Plays through with no skipping. Cover will have minor to moderate damage (ringwear, staining, corner damage). May have split seams.
VG- Lots of scratches, blemishes. "feeler scratches" may be present. Surface noise and crackling likely. Cover will have many problems-heavy ringwear, stains, cracked corners, split seams etc.
G/G+ This is a beat up record. MANY scratches/scuffs/indentions possible. Loss of gloss likely. Will play with LOTS of surface noise. I only sell G/G+ records in cases of rarity.
I COMMONLY USE "IN BETWEEN" GRADES SUCH AS VG+/VG++ or VG+ STRONG to more accuately grade records for my customers. Also, many times a record will look better or worse than it actually sounds. I will do my best to give you as much possible information as I can!

Records are packaged professionally in quality mailers and shipped out of the sleeve in a plastic sleeve to protect record and avoid seam splits. I do not issue refunds for split seams on sealed records so if you would like me to remove record please let me know!
