Description
A Rare record and possibly a one off from Percy Grainger. A 10" Playback recording with a 2" strip of masking tape in the centre of each side with 'To Elsa from Percy' more than likely written by Percy Grainger.
One side has To Elsa from Percy in red ink, then "the lonely desert man" (etc) , Cincinnati Ap 26 1950, (Ella singing voice solo behind stage) written in black ink.
The other side has To Elsa from Percy in red, then "Lets dance gay in green meadow", played by Burnett Cross & P.G, Dec 31, 1950, )announcement by ella grainger) in black ink.
Both sides have some surface marks but no scratches . Someone who knows what they are doing could give it a good clean and increase the quality alot.
