From my collection of vinyl LP's, here is an ultra-rare sealed copy of Perry Robinson's debut record on Savoy featuring a stellar cast of jazz icons, such as Paul Motian, Henry Grimes, and Kenny Barron. This was one of only eight jazz releases on Savoy, a label that mostly issued Gospel records. The cover art is signed "Harvey", whose real identity has remained a source of much speculation. This is the only sealed copy I have ever come across. It has never been opened, thus the vinyl may well be in MINT condition, though obviously it has not been tested. The record established Robinson at the forefront of jazz clarinetists.
