Perth County Conspiracy (Does Not Exist) S/T (Canadian) Columbia ELS-375
1970 debut by this Canadian folk-psych conglomeration based in a commune and similar to the Dead both in socio-cultural bearings and, often, in sound. Their list of inspirations, though, include Zappa and others from that sphere! This lp is an interesting stew of songs, childrens’ poems, dramatic bits, and moments of stoneage.
This is the Canadian second issue on the red and yellow label. Disc is VG+, with a few light sleeve marks, no deep scratches, almost a ++. Gatefold cover has very minor wear and includes custom lyric sheet (they call it a libretto!).
After a hiatus, during which we moved and built our Permanentrecords library/vault/watering hole, we are finally up and running as an Ebay seller again. Welcome back to all our old friends and hello to new ones. We’re going to try things a bit differently this time. We will still feature great, rare, obscure, strange and little-known vinyl, but we’ve decided on no reserves and a very low opening bid on even the choicest stuff. We’re hoping that this will keep you coming back to us for the chance at some genuine bargains and maybe even steals, as we allow each item to find its natural price.
