Description
PETE BROWN SEXTETTE's "Peter The Great" Released on BETHLEHEM RECORDS (BCP 1011), as a 10" EP with 7 songs, in 1954. This is a DJ Copy with the stamp on the back, but no mention on the labels.
Visually & Play-Graded, the EP is in strong VERY GOOD condition appears to have been played moderately judging by the number of visible spindle marks (5-6) on the labels, with a good number of light scratches and marks (no serious scratches). On playing, there are no skips throughout. Each side starts out rough with VERY GOOD sound with pops and medium background noise. As it progresses it cleans up so that by songs 2 it's still a bit rough but quieter by the end of the songs, with songs 3 playing close to VG+, and on Side 1, Song 4 it may be even closer to NM. Except for the very start of each side, the music is loud and clear, with little-to-no static.
The Cover is also in strong VERY GOOD condition with Medium-Light Wear (mainly a couple of wrinkles at the bottom on the LAMINATED front) with the liner note back having some pen marks (covering a name?) as seen in scan 2, Corners showing the same light wear and the Seams Intact Except near the top left corner and at the opening on the bottom seam (1/2" semi-split).
