This is the super rare third album on Harvest for Cream and Jack Bruce's lyricist Pete Brown. A musically fantastic album in my opinion, it is as rare as Hen's teeth, and sold very few copies when released. I will describe it as accurately as possible, but must admit my surprise in seeing a copy in such wonderful condition.
OUTER COVER GATEFOLD: This laminated outer is in Excellent condition with some minor creases on all four sides and corners, none of which detract from the stunning artwork. The rear has slightly more marks, but again, nothing to cause too much upset.
SPINE: Is clear, mostly maintaining its laminate, and legible, with the only break being between the words 'Raft' and 'Pete'. There is some light browning to the spine, but the text still stands very strong.
INNER COVER GATEFOLD: Overall this matt inner suffers very minor creases, but does show some age with browning and spotting along the centre fold. Again, this is nothing too severe and does not detract from the artwork, so I will grade it as being in Excellent condition.
INNER SLEEVE: This is the original Harvest inner sleeve that came with the LP at the time, in Excellent condition, being a fine example.
LABELS: The labels show some spindle wear, but otherwise are in superb Ex+ condition.
VINYL SIDE ONE: This shows some very light scuffs across tracks 1 and 2, and some other minor light surface scratches. These do not affect play at all, and the album sounds great, with minor surface noise causing NO distraction.
VINYL SIDE TWO: OUTSTANDING!!! Apart from the occasional minor light visual blemish, this looks and sounds stunning. A treasure to observe.
SUMMARY: This album plays superbly, and in spite of light wear to the sleeve and the slight surface mark, really is a genuinely impressive sight to behold, overall grading as a genuinely excellent condition LP. If anyone has any questions for me, then please feel free to e-mail and I will respond as quickly as possible.
THE BLURB BIT: Postage within the UK is £3.00. I accept bidders the world over, but not from any countries that other ebayers have had problems with. Postage, by Surface Mail abroad is set at £8.00, as is recorded delivery in the UK. The album will be solidly packaged and dispatched once Payment has been received. I have maintained a love of collecting records for 15 years now and feel that my judgements on conditions are HONEST and FAIR. I go by the UK RRPG standards and general eBay grading policy. If anyone disagrees with me on this then PLEASE CONTACT me before leaving feedback. There are no problems, only solutions.
