"A meal you can shake hands with in the dark",rare Lp by PETE BROWN & THE BATTERED ORNAMENTS Formation and released in 1969 on the legendary Harvest label.Here we have the U.K. ORIGINAL FIRSTPRESSING,SHVL 752,A2/B2 Stampercodes,no EMI box and Ernest J. Day gatefoldcover.The heavy vinyl has some surface hairlines,marks&scuffs,looks just very good-(vg-),but plays,except some light clicks and lightly crackely parts,very good+(vg+)throughout,no skips or jumpers,both labels are clean.The halflaminated cover shows just light corner&general wear,it is in clean excellent(Ex-)condition.Very rare,so this is still a keeper copy in acceptable shape.A outstanding,UNIQUE sound,with the imaginative guitar of CHRIS SPEDDING and the cool sound of DICK HECKSTALL-SMITH(also Co.producer of this recording)...........the track "Station Song"alone,is a great example of the fine art in outstanding songwriting by PETE BROWN at this time.........................
