PETE DELLO "INTO YOUR EARS ...PLUS" 1989 U.K LP featuring the mastermind of under-rated Pop Group HONEYBUS famous for their 1967 British Top Ten classic "I Can't Let Maggie Go". Recorded for the small Nepentha label, this 16-track compilation is an exact reissue of the rare original 1971 LP w/4 additional bonus tracks. Colorful, surreal cover art is by Roger Dean. (See For Miles) SEE 257. M-/M. Includes a great re-recording of the Honeybus single "Do I Still Figure In Your Life" (made famous by Joe Cocker on his first LP) & "I'm A Gambler"- a song that should have been a hit plus both sides of a Dello-penned single by Magic Valley & 2 previously unreleased tracks. Every song has that baroque Honeybus sound complete w/tasteful production & distinctive string arrangements. This is a must for fans of the Beatles, Badfinger or latter-day Hollies. Back cover contains lengthy notes on the Pete Dello/Honeybus saga by Roger Dopson.
