PETER AND GORDON, rare stereo debut album, 1964 UK LP.

SCX 3518, hard to find UK stereo Columbia record labels.

A hard to find UK stereo album in original condition, featuring:

1. 'Peter and Gordons', UK 'debut' LP from 1964,

2. hard to find 'stereo' LP, as nearly all copies of this LP where originally pressed in 'mono',

3. on the rear of the sleeve, to the top, right corner there is an official, unknown original factory / retail stamp,

4. earliest ‘mothers' of, '1 / 1', engraved onto the 'run off' grooves on the record,

5. period 'stereo deep groove' appearance to the records 'playing surfaces', that can be seen when the record is 'angled' to the light,

6. the record label on side one features an additional 'dot', as it reads, 'Sold in .U.K.', etc,

7. comes with its original hard to find UK period, EMI Columbia records advertising inner sleeve featuring, 'The Beatles, Rubber Soul', album.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent condition. The front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in near excellent condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original UK tri ‘flip back’, ie 'fold over' edges. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent condition and is the original hard to find UK period EMI 'Columbia' records advertising inner sleeve featuring, 'The Beatles, Rubber Soul' album. The two opening edges have remained clean and unworn. Theres NO pen writing, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue to the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: each side of the record is in excellent++ condition. It is difficult to see any 'marks' at all, on each of the records playing surfaces. Note - that the condition of the 'playing surfaces' have been graded under 'normal daylight' conditions. The record is made from the original quality 1960s period ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.

The records 'engraved matrix' is, side one - YAX 1132 – 1 and side two - YAX 1133 - 1,

The record engraved 'mother / stampers' are: side one, ‘1 M’ and side two, ‘1 M’,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays excellent++, each side of the record plays with excellent quiet grooves. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period, 'stereo' sound.

THE RECORD LABELS: each of the record labels are in excellent++ condition. The letters 'KT' are embossed onto the record label on side two. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
