PETER BARDENS ~ Vintage 69 Transatlantic TRA SAM 36– White label Test Press!!

Incredibly rare white label test pressing of the Vintage ’69 album which in this instance is the less common clear vinyl edition.   I cannot locate another test pressing of this LP as having ever come up for sale, so this is very much a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a test pressing of this LP by the late Peter Bardens, founding member Camel.  The album is a very solid 163g – very heavy vinyl for the mid seventies!

Condition grading is as follows: 

VINYL: (VISUAL) NEAR MINT

Clear vinyl is notoriously difficult to grade, but having spent some time studying this test pressing under strong halogen light I grade it as being in EX condition.  There are a few noticeable fine hairlines but nothing major and no serious damage.
The vinyl weighs in at a staggering 163g.  Wonderfully thick piece of vinyl!!!  
 
MATRIX INFORMATION:   

A Side:  TRA+SAM+36+A (etched)

B Side:  TRA+SAM+36+B (etched)

As expected of a test pressing the matrix and stampers are the absolute first for this LP.
 
LABELS:  EX+
The plain white labels grade at EX+, just a very slight smudge visible on one side, but no marks or other damage.

OUTER SLEEVE: N/A
Plain generic white outer (thick card) sleeve

INNER SLEEVE: N/A
The LP is housed in a generic poly lined inner, not sure if it is the original, but certainly of 1970’s vintage...

Postage and Packing:
All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
