THE PETER BROTZMANN TRIO - FOR ADOLPHE SAX LP

Peter Brötzmann (ts/bar); Peter Kowald (b); Sven Åke Johansson (d).

Brötzmann's first LP (privately released in 1967 and reissued on FMP in 1972). This is the FMP release. I think there was more than one FMP pressing but I don't think it has been available on vinyl for many many years. 

Pressed in Germany. The machine-stamped matrices are "BRÖ 1-A" and "BRÖ 1-B". 

The record and labels are in very nice condition. The cover has a little wear (detailed grading below). Plain inner.

GRADING:-

LABELS - NM   No spindle marks. No stickers or writing.                 

COVER - EX   Light general wear/creasing - and the white parts are a little age-toned. No splits. A sticker has been removed from the top left front corner - it has not torn the surface but there is a shadow of residue/discoloration where the sticker was.

I will be liquidating a large part of my record collection over coming weeks - including some very nice "top end" and hard to find items in all genres - but particularly jazz, free jazz, soul jazz, bossa, dub, reggae and such like - please watch out for them................

GRADING SCALE:   M/NM/EX/VG/G(+/-) visual grading only - not play tested unless specifically indicated above. NM is near mint not mint - I do not use M except for an unplayed record.

PACKAGING:    Your record will be securely packaged, with the record (in its inner sleeve) outside the main cover to avoid damage to the cover. Records with non-stock inner sleeves will be placed in a separate plain inner sleeve to avoid damage to the original inner. 

I use custom box mailers, and card stiffeners for additional protection. No charge will be made for packaging. Recycled (but secure) packaging may be used where available. 

SHIPPING COSTS AND PAYMENT TERMS:

Royal Mail's new and increasingly complex April 2013 pricing structure has significantly increased postage costs from the UK and significantly decreased compensation levels for lost or damaged items. 

As a result of the reduced compensation levels, I regret that ITEMS SELLING FOR MORE THAN £20 WILL ONLY BE SENT BY A SIGNED FOR OR TRACKED AND FULLY INSURED METHOD OF SHIPPING.

                 - Shipping costs are Royal Mail's actual prices and no charge is made for packaging or handling. If I miscalculate the actual cost, a full refund of any excess will be promptly made.

                 - I will gladly combine shipping if you win additional items - based on combined weight (up to 2kg max for overseas packages).

                 - Payment is due within 3 days of invoice please (unless other arrangements have been agreed before bidding).

                          Europe is £6.40 

                          Australia/NZ/Australasia is £10.40

                 If the item sells for more than £20, it will only be sent by international signed for or by airsure (if available to your country) at an additional cost. This cost is in addition to the airmail
