Description
RARE and played very infrequently - Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs - ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING -- Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive -- MFSL 2-262. Special Limited Edition No. 1799 Anadisc 200. Please see ACTUAL PHOTOs. This version is the infamous MFSL Half-Speed production with mastering from Original Masteringworks. Specially plated and pressed on 200 grams of High Definition Vinyl. Mastered using RoomTune Acoustic Treatment by Michael Green Designs from the Original Master Tapes. Special Heavy Duty MFSL Protective Packaging and ORIGINAL static free inner sleeves. Originally released in 1976, Frampton Comes Alive is widely considered to be one of the greatest live rock albums of all-time! There were several hits from this 2-LP package ("Show Me the Way," "Baby, I Love Your Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do") that did well on the charts, and some songs like, "Lines On My Face," "It's a Plain Shame," "I Wanna Go to the Sun" and "(I'll Give You) Money" that improved upon their respective original studio album versions. I remember this album well; it was the toast of many parties attended during the spring and summer of 1976. Complete track listing: Introduction, "Something's Happening," "Doobie Wah," "Show Me the Way," "It's a Plain Shame," "All I Want to Be (Is By Your Side)," "Wind of Change," "Baby, I Love Your Way," "I Wanna Go to the Sun," "Penny For Your Thoughts," "(I'll Give You) Money," "Shine On," "Jumping Jack Flash," "Lines On My Face" and "Do You Feel Like We Do." Vinyl is Near Mint ...one tiny plating press mark (from manufacturing) on side four (record 2, side two) that does not affect play (inaudible) ...played no more than three times and stored -- appears as it did when first opened (like new) ...sounds excellent! Gatefold cover/jacket is also Near Mint ...really like new. Inside gatefold contains the original liner notes from December 1975 written by Cameron Crowe, then a contributing editor of Rolling Stone magazine. LP package has been stored in a poly outer sleeve in a smoke-free environment. This MFSL LP title is RARE - you won't see many, especially in this condition!
