Description
This is an auction for a rare LP by Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac. see pictures for track listing.
This was released on Blue Horizon Records in 1968 and has catalogue number 763200. This is the 1st pressing, please check pictures for clarification, I think this is Mono, is does not mention Mono/Stereo on the sleeve and sounded mono, but I may be wrong.
Matrix Numbers- 763200 A1 763200 B1
Condition: The sleeve has light discolour marks on the rear, buffing to the very corners and one place on the spine and a few tiny lamination creases. No tears, bends or creases, lamination at mouth fine, complete and graded at VG+
This comes with its original patent inner sleeve.
Labels: Both labels are clean and look new, under closer examination a few spider spindle trails can be seen on side 1 with side 2 having perhaps two spindle marks only. The centre hole on side 1 has a little wear to the bottom half of the hole, with side 2 showing little to no signs of wear. please check the pictures for clarification.
Vinyl- both sides retain there new shine, A few ghost lines can be seen, under closer examination a few feather scratches can be seen. I have of course played this through both sides and the above mentioned ghost lines and feather scratches are just about non-audible. On track one of side one there are three ticks midway through this track otherwise fine.
Other than on track 1 of side one this plays very well indeed, Quiet introductions and breaks between tracks, the music itself plays strong and clear with no distortion, fading or dragging heard whatsoever, other than the very occasional very quiet crackle this plays as new. There is no lessening in sound quality through wear as this has been played a few times only. Track 1 does have the above mentioned 3 ticks but, I'm not completely sure about this, I also think I heard a little distortion on a few notes during this track. I have checked the vinyl and there seems to be no reason for it, the track itself is a blues number and perhaps has that kind of wobbly sound as standard. Anycase I have mentioned it so please take this into account that the first track on this side does play with problems. Just to say I did not notice this on the rest of the LP and this occasional distorted sound certainly disapeared by the end of track 1.
If not for the first track a decent collectors item that is hardly played, Graded at VG, with it perhaps being a little better. Down-graded for the few ticks and the possible distortion.
