Description

Peter Grummer (cello) was born in 1938 in Vienna and was pupil of his grandfather Paul Grummer and of Pablo Casals. He was a professor at the Vienna "Musik Akademie". Together with Hans Vollenweider (harpsichord / cembalo) play works by Telemann - Sonate in D-Dur / Haendel - Fantasie für Cembalo nr 10 in G-Dur, Fantasie für Cembalo Nr. 3 in C-Dur, Fantasie für Cembalo Nr. 4 in F-Dur, Fantasie für Cembalo Nr. 2 in a-moll / Vivaldi - Sonata V in e-moll / Couperin - Pieces en concert / Marcello - Sonate V in C-Dur. This extremely rare private release offers a one of a kind performance in the Bachi, Mainardi long bow style. Superb recital !!!

Label: Sonographic WA 3104. The vinyl of this private Swiss stereo LP is vg+ (some small marks/hairlines that play with some soft pops and one or two harder pops only). VERY RARE !!!
