Description
PETER HAMMILL – Crying Wolf / This Side of the Looking Glass 7” vinyl promo only release on Charisma Records from 1977 (PH 001).
You are bidding for an original copy of this collectable single released to promote ‘Over’ the 6th solo album by Van der Graaf Generator front man Peter Hammill in 1977.
This single was only ever released as a promo in the UK and it is now a highly sought after Hammill / VdGG rarity.
Visually this copy is in really nice condition with no defects worthy of mention. Audibly it plays great, the B side in particular is long with some quiet sections and there is a little background noise during the run in / out and the occasional click or pop but this copy is probably as nice as you will find and something I would grade as a strong Ex.
This single was never issued with a picture sleeve, so comes in a clean white period sleeve.
Overall then a great copy of a rare and collectable single which I would grade as Ex/ (vinyl).
