Description

Pylon, U.S., 2011, 2 lp live set in unique 1 day-only issue cover, in heat-sealed mylar outer bag. Extremely limited edition, this version was never commercially offered outside of California.

   Peter Hook's swooshy, chorus-y bass guitar work was always at the heart and soul of JOY DIVISION's sound. Here Peter leads his solo band THE LIGHT through two lps worth of JD classics recorded live in Australia in 2011. This rare edition/ version of the lp features a "one day only" limited alternate cover, which was only offered to the public on one day, September 15, 2011, when Hook made a promotional stop at Amoeba Music in Hollywood. It is said to be on colored vinyl ( the regular edition is, anyway), and have different cover art under its heat-sealed, mylar outer bag, which has not been opened, but bears a sticker with the date and its info. The album seriously rocks, and is quite a compliment to the collections of JOY DIVISION fans. This version of it is very rare and virtually never seen offered.
