PETER MAGG Chopin/Delibes DECCA LP Stereo W/B 1E/1E SXL.2044!
Original UK LP with fully laminated sleeve, with top/bottom back sleeve flip over edge, comes complete with the original Decca FFSS paper/poly lined inner sleeve, released in 1958 on the DECCA label. Catalogue number: SXL.2044 (Stereo).
Matrix numbers read:
A-Side: ZAL-3803-1E
B-Side: ZAL-3804-1E
Sleeve/Record: EXCELLENT+/EXCELLENT (*Plays EXCELLENT)
Superb clean solid sleeve in EXCELLENT condition, laminate is intact, but displays some slight/light minor partial ring wear laminate dulling. Sleeve has no rips/tears, no seem splits, no edge wear, no writing and no sleeve creases. The original Decca FFSS paper/poly lined inner sleeve, is in EXCELLENT condition, clean with no rips/tears, writing or seem splits.
Both record labels are clean in appearance, with no damage, spindle trail marks are minor, with just a few tiny faint traces evident on the B-side, showing barely played. Playing surfaces/Matrix areas retain the full original glossy sheen, some barely visible minor traces of fine line scuffing can be seen on the matrix areas, the playing surfaces displays minimal (almost negligible) fine line scuffs, these are small/tiny, soft, barely visible and are only evident when viewed and angled closely under a strong bright light. *Record plays EXCELLENT on both sides, emits a clean sound throughout with no loud/audible background surface noise (crackles or clicks). Does display some odd occasional/intermittent low level surface noise in some places when played, however I would say this borders on minimal.
