MONKEES - PETER TORK 45 "Steppin' Stone" "Higher & Higher"
PETER'S BACK! RARE!

Here is Peter's sole, solo vinyl release!  Put out in 1981 in very limited quantities on the Vermont vanity label, Claude's Music Works. Peter & his New Monks cut a new-wavy version of the Monkees hit, "(I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone" backed with the incredible folky, rocker cover of Jackie Wilson's hit, "Higher & Higher!" 
Considering that after the Monkees, Peter, the most instrumentally talented member of the group, only 'release'd one solo record in close to a 25 year span!

CONDITION: Picture sleeve is solid with normal shelf wear, a few light brown marks-- See images.  The record is a very solid VG, VG+ with light superficial marks that do not affect playback.  
From my personal collection.  Was fortunate enough to meet the man and have him sign this 45.
